বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস ২০২৫ আমাদের অগ্রগতি ও লক্ষ্যে অনড় থাকা ৬৫ বছরের ত্যাগে সমুজ্জ্বল, ‘ঐতিহ্যের গৌরব, আগামীর প্রত্যয়’ শীর্ষক মাইলস্টোন বর্ষপূর্তি লন্ডন, যুক্তরাজ্য ৫ আগস্ট ২০২৫ যুক্তরাজ্যের বাংলাদেশ ক্যাটারার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (বিসিএ) আনন্দের সাথে ঘোষণা দিচ্ছে বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস ২০২৫ এর অনুষ্ঠানমালার। এর মধ্য দিয়ে যুক্তরাজ্যের কারি শিল্পে বিসিএ’র ৬৫ বছরের ঐতিহাসিক ঐতিহ্যের ধারার উদযাপন করবে।
এ বছরের প্রতিপাদ্য ‘ঐতিহ্যের গৌরব, আগামীর প্রত্যয়। এই প্রতিপাদ্যের সারকথা হল, বিসিএ’র ছয় দশকেরও বেশি সময়ের নিষ্ঠা, উন্নয়ন ও উদ্দেশ্য সকলের সামনে তুলে ধরা।
বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস ২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে রোববার, ৯ নভেম্বর ২০২৫, পার্ক প্লাজা ওয়েস্টমিনস্টার ব্রিজ হোটেল, লন্ডন, SE1 7UT -এ ঠিকানায়।

এ ঐতিহাসিক অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন খ্যাতনামা রেস্টুরেন্ট মালিক, বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ, নীতিনির্ধারক, এবং গণমাধ্যম ব্যক্তিত্ব, যারা যুক্তরাজ্যের বাংলাদেশি কারি খাতের অসামান্য অবদানকে উদযাপন করবেন।

উল্লেখ্য, এটি বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস-এর ১৮তম বছর। এ পুরস্কার কেবল শ্রেষ্ঠত্বকে স্বীকৃতি দেয় না, বরং ব্রিটেনের সবচেয়ে প্রিয় খাদ্য-সংস্কৃতির ঐতিহ্যকে শীর্ষে তুলে ধরে।
নেতৃত্বের উত্তরাধিকার ১৯৬০ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর থেকে বিসিএ আজ যুক্তরাজ্যে ১২,০০০-এরও বেশি বাংলাদেশি মালিকানাধীন রেস্টুরেন্ট ও টেকওয়ে-কে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করছে। বিসিএ কেবল একটি বাণিজ্য সংস্থা নয়, এটি একটি সাংস্কৃতিক সেতুবন্ধন, উদ্যোক্তা প্ল্যাটফর্ম, এবং আদর্শিক কারি ঐতিহ্যের রক্ষক। প্রথমদিকের পথিকৃৎ রেস্টুরেন্ট ব্যবসায়ীদের হাত ধরে কারি যুক্তরাজ্যের প্রধান সড়কগুলোতে স্থান পেয়েছে। আর আজকের তরুণ ও সৃজনশীল শেফরা সেই ঐতিহ্যকে আধুনিক স্বাদে উপস্থাপন করছেন। বিসিএ ব্রিটিশ খাদ্য সংস্কৃতির এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হয়ে উঠেছে।

আগামীর শিল্প গড়ে তোলা
গত বছর চালু হওয়া ইয়ং কারি শেফ অ্যাওয়ার্ডের সফলতা থেকে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে বিসিএ নতুন প্রতিভা অন্বেষণে, রান্নাঘরে বৈচিত্র্য বৃদ্ধিতে, এবং বিশেষ করে নারী শেফদের জন্য নতুন সুযোগ তৈরিতে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
বিসিএ প্রেসিডেন্ট ওলি খান এমবিই বলেন : “৬৫ বছর পূর্তি একটি অসাধারণ অর্জন। এটি আমাদের কমিউনিটির সংকল্প, সৃজনশীলতা ও সহনশীলতার প্রমাণ। আমাদের রেস্টুরেন্টগুলো শুধু খাবার সরবরাহ করে না এগুলো আমাদের সংস্কৃতির দূত। আমরা যেমন অতীত ঐতিহ্যের
গৌরব উদযাপন করছি, তেমনি ভবিষ্যৎ গঠনে নতুন প্রতিভা ও সাহসী চিন্তাধারাকে উৎসাহ দিচ্ছি।”
মিতু চৌধুরী, সেক্রেটারি-জেনারেল, বলেন: “এই মাইলস্টোন আমাদের জন্য এমন একটি সময়, মানে, যারা শুরু করেছিলেন, তাদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানানো এবং যারা নতুন পথ দেখাচ্ছেন, তাদের সম্মান করার একটি ঐতিহাসিক অধ্যায়। বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস আমাদের অতীতের গৌরব আর ভবিষ্যতের আশা – দুটোই উদযাপন করছে।”
চিফ ট্রেজারার টিপু রহমান বলেন: “৬৫ বছর ধরে আমাদের সদস্যরা যুক্তরাজ্যের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রেখে চলেছেন— চাকরি তৈরি, কমিউনিটি সহায়তা, ও ব্রিটিশ সংস্কৃতিকে সমৃদ্ধ করা—সবকিছুর পেছনে রয়েছে তাদের অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম। বিসিএ অ্যাওয়ার্ডস কেবল রন্ধনশিল্পে শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের স্বীকৃতি নয়, এটি উদ্যোক্তাদের দীর্ঘস্থায়ী সাফল্যেরও উৎসব।”

লক্ষ্যভিত্তিক ভবিষ্যতের দিকে এগিয়ে চলা
এই ঐতিহাসিক বছরে বিসিএ তার সদস্যদের স্বার্থ রক্ষায় অঙ্গীকারবদ্ধ।
যেমন: ব্যয়বৃদ্ধির চাপ, ইমিগ্রেশন নীতির সংস্কার, এবং দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন বিষয়ে সোচ্চার থাকা। এছাড়াও, বিসিএ বহু-সাংস্কৃতিকতা, উদ্ভাবন, এবং টেকসইতা-কে ব্রিটেনের রন্ধনজগতের অংশ করে তোলায় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে।
এই ৬৫তম বর্ষপূর্তি শুধু অতীত ঐতিহ্যের উৎসব নয়, এটি ভবিষ্যতের জন্য একটি আন্তরিক আহ্বান, যাতে প্রতিষ্ঠিত ব্যবসাগুলোকে আরও শক্তিশালী করা হয়। যাতে নতুন প্রতিভাকে এগিয়ে নিতে সহায়তা করে, ঐতিহ্যকে সংরক্ষণ করে, সেই উদ্ভাবনকে গ্রহণ করতে আন্তরিক থাকা, যা ব্রিটেনের কারি শিল্পকে জীবন্ত ও সফল রাখতে পারে।

BCA Awards 2025: “Celebrating a Legacy. Shaping the Future.” Milestone Anniversary Recognises 65 Years of Passion, Progress, and Purpose London, UK, 5th August 2025 The Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) proudly announces the launch of the 2025 BCA
Awards, marking a historic 65th anniversary of championing Britain’s curry industry. Under the
fitting theme “Celebrating a Legacy. Shaping the Future,” this year’s event honours BCA’s six
and a half decades of passion, progress, and purpose.
The BCA Awards 2025 ceremony will be held on Sunday 9
th November 2025 at Park Plaza
Westminster Bridge Hotel, London,SE1 7UT , welcoming leading restaurateurs, dignitaries,
policymakers, and media to celebrate the outstanding contributions of the UK’s Bangladeshi curry
sector. Now in its 18th year, the prestigious awards continue to recognise excellence while paying
tribute to the rich heritage of one of Britain’s most beloved culinary cultures.
A Legacy of Leadership
Since its founding in 1960, the BCA has grown to represent over 12,000 Bangladeshi-owned
restaurants and takeaways across the UK. More than a trade association, the BCA has long been a
cultural bridge, entrepreneurial platform, and guardian of authentic curry traditions. From
pioneering restaurateurs who introduced curry to British high streets, to today’s dynamic chefs who
reimagine classic dishes for modern tastes, the BCA has helped shape the identity of British cuisine.
Shaping Tomorrow’s Industry
Building on the success of its Young Curry Chef awards, introduced last year, BCA continues to
invest in emerging talent, promote diversity in kitchens, and create opportunities for the next
generation of chefs — including female chefs — to shine.
