Sirajganj: At the end of the year, from December to February, there is a continuous cold spell. Currently, the changing scenes of this winter are being seen in the rural villages of Bengal. However, winter comes every year. It also goes away. But it leaves behind thousands of sorrows and burdened memories. When winter comes, one thing is especially prevalent in Gramaganj, and that is getting together to light a fire. Usually, to protect themselves from the cold, the people of the village, from young children to the elderly, gather around various types of straw huts and try to warm themselves in the winter.
When we arrived at the Sadar Union of Tarash Upazila in Sirajganj district, we saw young children lighting fires to escape the cold. They were enjoying the cold with joy. They said that we, the children, almost every day, set fires on the roadside with polythene, tarpaulins, and other materials to escape the cold. We had a lot of fun with this.
Sushil Samaj says, we always forget that fire has its good and bad sides as well. Therefore, we must ensure that no one falls victim to an accident while lighting a fire this winter. Therefore, everyone must take precautions against lighting a fire.
