Milad and Prayer Gathering Held for the Forgiveness of the Late Faruk Ahmed

A Milad and prayer gathering was held at Patanogaon Taluk Jagat Jame Mosque in Sylhet to pray for the forgiveness of the soul of Faruk Ahmed, who was killed in an attack following a land dispute on 21 March 2017.

A special prayer was offered at the gathering today, seeking Allah’s forgiveness and mercy for the late Faruk Ahmed.

Speaking to journalists after the prayer gathering, fellow villagers, including Mustaq Ahmed and Atikur Rahman, called for justice over Faruk Ahmed’s killing. They urged the relevant authorities to conduct a fair investigation and bring those responsible to justice. They also appealed to the people of the country for their support in ensuring justice for the deceased.

প্রয়াত ফারুক আহমদের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনায় মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত

জমিসংক্রান্ত বিরোধের জেরে ২০১৭ সালের ২১ মার্চ হামলায় নিহত ফারুক আহমদের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনায় সিলেটের পাটনগাঁও তালুক জগৎ জামে মসজিদে মিলাদ ও দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
আজ অনুষ্ঠিত এ মাহফিলে প্রয়াত ফারুক আহমদের রুহের মাগফিরাত ও তাঁর প্রতি মহান আল্লাহর রহমত কামনা করে বিশেষ দোয়া করা হয়।
দোয়া মাহফিল শেষে সাংবাদিকদের সঙ্গে আলাপকালে ফারুক আহমদের সহগ্রামবাসী মুস্তাক আহমদ ও আতাউর রহমানসহ অন্যরা তাঁর হত্যাকাণ্ডের বিচার দাবি করেন। তাঁরা এ ঘটনার সুষ্ঠু তদন্তের মাধ্যমে দায়ীদের আইনের আওতায় এনে বিচারের মুখোমুখি করার জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান। একই সঙ্গে নিহত ফারুক আহমদের ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করতে দেশবাসীর সহযোগিতাও কামনা করেন।
